Wax

WAX  Is an exhibition about life  -     Dreams, Hopes And horror.

As a child I could spend hours looking thru the store windows where lonely mannequins stood in wedding gowns. At that time mannequins where made out of wax, and who haven’t as a child, used imagination and build their dreams out of modeling wax.

Today I’m still fascinated by those mannequins and torsos. The stiff and unreal life, eyes looking out into the empty air. They represent all our dreams, the latest fashion, everyday clothes or the sexy underwear. But it is not only the nice dreams that emerges, because suddenly in a window you’ll see the lover body, an arm, a leg or bare hands. The factory the mannequins are manufactured is truly terrifying it is like taking a walk thru a prison camp, My thoughts wandered to the, extermination camps in Germany, and my eyes could see pictures from Yugoslavia and Rwanda.

There were boxes with blindfolded and severed heads and hands warding themselves from terrors and reaching out for good fortune.

The fantasy  takes a swing. I changes the color - I make things disappear and appear- out comes my fantasy
