My name is Sisse Jarner and I am 54 years old.

My father was a press photographer and I started my education as press photographer when I was 15years old at a press bureau . The bureau took pictures for Danish and foreign newspapers , magazines and books. I worked there for 16 years and then got a job as still photographer at  the television-news section at the Danish Broadcasting Corp. After 19 years there was a big cut in jobs due to  an economic crisis and my job was closed down. I was fired and started working free lance. At the same time I was married to Niels, whom I have been living with for 12 years. I have three children: Sille who is 29 years old, Gine who is 27 years old and Ulrik  who is 25 years old - and I have two grandchildren, Shiva who is 10 years old and Luna who is 4. Niels have also three grown up children and two grandchildren, so we are a rather big family. The most important in my life is the family. My occupation as press photographer have been put a little aside after I have learned the happiness of  using the computer to  create  pictures. Working with pictures and exhibitions have now my first preference. I travel a lot, because when you go abroad  your way of thinking changes and your world get bigger.
